Scar Treatment : Contractubex Gel

Here is my long overdue posting with regards to anti-scar. I have recommended ROC Retinol Correxion Serum. I swear that this product works but is not readily available here in the Philippines. It has also that weird smell so I do not use before during mornings. Now, here is another product worth trying when it comes to scar treatment. This is the Contractubex Gel.
Stated on its box is Specific Treatment for Scars. This product is described as anti-cicatricial and anti-inflammatory. Its main components are Extract Cepae, Heparin Sodium and Allantoin. But the most potent among them is the allantoin. The benefits of allantoin include, moisturizing and keratolytic (causes the outer layer of the skin to loosen and shed), increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promoting cell proliferation and wound healing; and a soothing, anti-irritant, and skin protectant effect by forming complexes with irritant and sensitizing agents. It is frequently present in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral hygiene products, in shampoos, lipsticks, anti-acne products, sun care products, and clarifying lotions, various cosmetic lotions and creams, and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical products (wikipedia).
Here are the information on its box and leaflet.
INDICATIONS: Helps prevent hypertrophic and keloidal scars, restricting and cosmetically disfiguring scars after operations, amputations, burns, and accidents. Dupuytren's contracture and traumatic tendon contracture, cicatricial strictures.

  2. I have proven this medicine to be effective in removing scars. I had a big blister on my right hand, just above my thumb because of a hot oil that hit me when I was frying. After applying contractubex on the almost-healed wound, little by little, the scar disappeared.
